Chasing Wind & Water
Bending Pines Watersports was created to introduce people to the freedom and possibility that exist on the water. Based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Bending Pines helps both children and adults discover wind-powered sports like kitesurfing and wing foiling, opening the door to a lifelong connection with wind, waves, and coastal adventure.
The founder, Cameron, has traveled to over 30 countries across six continents in pursuit of wind and waves, teaching kitesurfing internationally in destinations such as Puerto Rico and New Zealand. These experiences shape the philosophy behind Bending Pines: that wind sports are not just activities, but a gateway to exploration, travel, and connection.
During the windy seasons Bending Pines operates along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, offering instruction and sharing local knowledge of the water. Outside of those seasons, the pursuit of wind continues abroad, with recent time spent in Lisbon and Cape Town following some of the world’s best conditions.
Bending Pines exists to inspire others to step outside, embrace the elements, and discover how far the wind can take them.
